A Young Muslim Gold Medalist

A year 10 Muslim student from Athirah Islamic School, Makassar, Indonesia. recently won a gold medal at the 8th Asian Physics Olympiad, Shanghai, China. Muhammad Firmansyah Kasim, his name, was the best in experimental, although came the second in theoretical.
Winning 43.2 overall points, just 0.1 point below the First winner from China. The year 10 smart boy from east part of Indonesia could beat other participants, mostly students at year 12, solving problems at masters/PhD levels.

If we see the medal standing below :
1. Yun Yang, China 43.3, gold
2. Muhammad Firmansyah K, Indonesia 43.2, gold
21. Reiney Popey, Australia 34.0, silver
35. Yonathan Fiat, Israel 28.55, bronze

well, it's a proof that even an Islamic school from
somewhere there in a third world (Islamic) country can
compete with big names from Australia and Israel
